Welcome to SCB Student Wiki!

The SCB Student Wiki was established by the Student Affairs Committee (SAC) of the Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) as a way for students, professionals, graduates and the general public to share relevant information on Conservation Biology.

On the wiki you will find information about - Scholarships, Courses, Events, Advice and Resources intended to be of service to Students, Graduates and New Professionals in the early stages of their career's in biodiversity conservation.
The SCB Student Wiki is a free, open resource that is constantly growing and expanding. Follow us using RSS feeds or on Twitter. To find out more about SAC and SCB check our Wiki's page About us or visit SCB's official web site.

We encourage contributions to the Wiki, so feel free to join and to post info about events, job-openings, course announcement, etc. Updating the wiki is extremely easy, you don't need to know any code, just type in the content you want to add. See the instruction at the bottom of this page. Alternatively, drop us an email with ideas, questions or content to scbstudentwiki@gmail.com

Getting Started

Please read the posts in the discussion forum about our common rules for managing the wiki.
  • SIGN IN (top right of the page). If you see PROTECTED to the right of the top tabs it means that you are not signed in.
  • Click on the edit button above any page to put your own contents. Some pages, like this one, are locked (lock sign to the left of the page tab). Their content can only be changed by admins.
  • To create a new page, click "New Page" in the left menu section on this page.
  • If you want to make practice before editing the wiki, you can play around with our test site: http://scbestest.wikispaces.com REMEMBER TO SIGN IN BEFORE STARTING TO PLAY WITH THE TEST SITE!
